Tacoma Beer Festival
The Tacoma Beer Festival is coming up. Yes, I like beerfests and it has been a long time since I’ve been to one.

But I have been to Tacoma and I was so surprised when the first time I was there, I didn’t recognize ANY of the beers on tap! They were not from ANY major brewery and were all local craft breweries. I remember sitting on the deck of pub, overlooking the vast greenspace fo Washington state and drinking some fantastic brews.
Here’s the details:
- Tickets are NOW on sale!
- The Tacoma Beer Festival takes place at the Foss Waterway
- It’s on 9/1, from 11AM to 8PM
- There will be 50+ breweries!
Word on the street is that the Tacoma Beer Festival ran out of beer last year, and this year the breweries promised to bring more beer!
As I recently learned at a local, (to Atlanta) beer fest, the VIP seems to be the way to go. The VIP’s get a separate, quicker entrance to the festival, a special seating area to share with brewers and brewery staff, and catered food to accompany the beer. On top of that, you’ll get a festival T-shirt.
